Laura Contin

Laura Contin serves as the International Public Policy Lead at Monzo Bank, where responsibilities include leading the international strategy and priorities during the bank's expansion in the EU and US. Prior to this role, Laura held a secondment as Public Policy Lead at Monzo, providing expertise on EU fintech regulations and preparing key briefings for the Senior Leadership Team. With a solid background in public affairs, Laura has directed strategic campaigns at Whitehouse Communications, where impactful relationships with regulators were established, and served as a strategic advisor for the European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance. Previous experience includes roles in communications and public affairs across various organizations and sectors, including Ecommerce Europe and Publyon EU. Laura holds an MA in Contemporary European Studies from the University of Bath and a Master’s in European Politics from Sciences Po.
