Margit Maritz

Margit Maritz is an experienced professional in compensation and reward management, currently serving as the Head of Compensation at Monzo Bank since April 2025. Prior to this role, Margit held the position of Head of Reward at N26 from August 2021 to December 2024, and also served as the Head of Reward and People Operations (Interim). Margit's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Reward and Compensation Manager at CQS and Director of Global Financial Reporting: Executive Compensation at Credit Suisse, where oversight of the Financial Reporting team was a key responsibility. Margit's career began at KPMG as a Chartered Accountant from January 1996 to January 2001. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pretoria, and a BCompt Honours & CTA from the University of South Africa.
