May Alexander

May Alexander is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in deploying machine learning models and integrating data excellence into core products. As the Lead Data Scientist at Monzo Bank since February 2024, May has previously held senior positions at Skyscanner and Scottish Water, where expertise included co-creating software for live data analysis and leading projects with a focus on climate change and water quality. Earlier, at Allied Irish Bank (GB), May developed a probability of default model to assess portfolio risk. May holds a Master of Mathematics (MMath) degree from the University of Reading.
