Ruby Stoddart

Ruby Stoddart is a data scientist with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at Monzo Bank since October 2025 and previously at Datasparq from September 2022 to October 2025, where roles included both Data Scientist and Associate Data Scientist. Ruby's academic background includes a Master's degree in Physics and Physical Chemistry from UCL and a Postgraduate Certificate in Quantum Engineering from the University of Bristol. Additional experience encompasses a competitive Summer Research Scholarship at UCL focusing on entanglement in hydrogenic dynamics, participation in the UCLQ Quantum Technologies Summer School, and a Summer Research Internship at EPSRC, which involved an independent project on quantum computing. Ruby’s early work experience includes roles as a barista and bartender at the Students' Union UCL.
