Suhail Patel

Suhail Patel has extensive experience as a software engineer and leader in various companies. Suhail currently works at Monzo Bank as a Senior Staff Software Engineer (Director), overseeing large-scale projects and ensuring the reliability and stability of the microservices platform. Prior to that, Suhail worked at Citymapper as a Lead Software Engineer for four years. In this role, they played a key role in the development of software solutions. Before joining Citymapper, they worked at OnApp as a Software Engineer, where they specialized in mobile (iOS and Android) applications and managed the development process from concept to delivery.

Suhail Patel pursued their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham. Suhail studied at the university from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, Suhail attended the Loxford School of Science and Technology Sixth Form from 2008 to 2010, where they completed A Levels in Computing, Economics, and Maths.
