Tom Hayes is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the field. Currently, Tom serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Monzo Bank, where efforts focus on developing the Flex and Mortgage Tracker products since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tom led data initiatives for Instagram's Branded Content program, which evolved into Instagram's Creator Marketplace, from October 2021 to December 2022. Tom also contributed to Facebook's (now Meta's) Workplace Organisation as a Data Scientist from August 2018 to October 2021, leading data for the Frontline pillar. Tom's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst and Analyst at Tesco and a Research Placement at the Sainsbury Laboratory at the University of Cambridge. Tom began the career path with a Research Internship at EMBL-EBI. Tom holds both a Master of Science in Systems Biology and a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
