John Wooler

John Wooler has a wealth of experience in the music and media industry. John currently holds the role of VP of Strategic Licensing and Label Relations at Mood Media since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Global Licensing and Label Relations at Spacefactory Media from 2020 to 2021. From 2011 to 2019, John was the Snr VP of Media Services and Label Relations at PlayNetwork. Before that, they worked as a Music Consultant/Producer at Exolution from 2007 to 2011. John also had experience as a Part-Time Music Professor at Cal Poly Pomona from 2003 to 2011, and as EVP at Sunset strip/USA Int media from 2004 to 2006. In their earlier career, John spent 19 years as a Senior Executive at Virgin Records, where they managed and ran an imprint record label. John also worked at Pointblank Records as President from 1994 to 2003 and had experience as a Music Researcher and Assistant Producer at the British Broadcasting Co from 1982 to 1984.

John Wooler attended Dundee College of Commerce from 1978 to 1980, where they studied Business Studies. Prior to this, they also attended Dundee High School, although the specific dates and field of study are unknown. John also has a certification in USA Rugby coaching level 300, obtained from USA Rugby.
