Mark Manning has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mark began their career as a Logistics Clerk at Softbox Systems Ltd in 2001. In 2003, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at One.Tel. Mark then gained experience in public relations as a Public Relations Intern at Greenlight Media in 2006 and as a Sales Consultant at GIFT later that year. Mark subsequently served as a Marketing Assistant and Trainer at Cambridge Taipei from 2008 to 2010. Mark then joined EF English First as a Branch Manager in 2012 before moving on to Education First as the Director of Operations and Customer Success, where they worked from 2016 to 2019. In 2014, they also took on the role of a Change Management Consultant and Leadership Coach. In 2019, Mark co-founded Reux Consultancy, where they currently serve. In 2020, Mark joined Moodle as the Customer Support and Experience Lead.

Mark Manning has an extensive education history. In 2003, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Bristol, where they pursued a BA (Joint Hons) degree in German & Philosophy. Mark completed this program in 2007.

Following their undergraduate studies, Mark furthered their education in the field of Mandarin training. From 2008 to 2010, they enrolled in the Mandarin Training Programme at National Taiwan Normal University. During this time, they focused on enhancing their Mandarin language skills.

In 2010, Mark's pursuit of academic excellence led him to the University of Oxford, where they completed an MSc degree in Applied Linguistics & Second Language Acquisition in 2011. This program allowed him to further their understanding of language learning and teaching.

Continuing their interest in language education, Mark pursued the International Diploma in Language Teaching Management (IDLTM) at The University of Queensland from 2014 to 2015. This program emphasized the managerial aspects of language teaching.

In addition to their formal education, Mark has obtained two certifications. In 2015, they achieved HSK Level 4 in Mandarin Chinese, demonstrating their proficiency in the language. Furthermore, in 2016, Mark obtained a Foundation Coaching Certificate from The Coaching Academy. These certifications illustrate their dedication to continuous professional development in language teaching and coaching.
