Engineering Team Lead at Moodle

Earlier in their career, Mathieu worked as an English teacher at Kid Castle Educational Corporation in Xi'an, China, from January 2005 to June 2005. Mathieu taught English to children aged 5 to 12, collaborated with Chinese teachers, and prepared and conducted classes of approximately 12 students.

Between October 2001 and October 2004, Mathieu worked at espresso communication & design as a Web Developer/Programmer. Mathieu developed dynamic websites, integrated PHP with HTML, and provided technical support to both employees and clients.

Mathieu's professional journey began in 2000 when they interned as a Programmer at Gemplus for four months.

Mathieu Petit-Clair has a diverse education history. Mathieu completed a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Université de Montréal from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Chinese from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal between 2002 and 2003. Mathieu also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, UQAM, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. In addition, Mathieu obtained a Minor in Computer Science from Université de Montréal in 1999 after completing their studies there from 1998 to 1999. Mathieu began their academic journey at Collège Ahuntsic, where they received a DEC in Sc. Humaines in 1997. Mathieu has also obtained the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
