Chris Scott

Chris Scott is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit analysis and risk management. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President and Lead Rating Analyst at Moody's Corporation since January 2016, Chris manages a portfolio of insurance brokers and property & casualty insurance companies. Previous roles at Moody's include Assistant Vice President and Credit Analyst Manager, overseeing a team of 17 analysts focused on high-yield and investment-grade companies. Prior to Moody's, Chris worked at Euler Hermes, where responsibilities included managing high-risk credit portfolios, conducting in-depth financial analyses, and leading initiatives to improve credit underwriting processes. Chris holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University Maryland and a B.Sc. in International Business and Management of Information Systems from High Point University, with additional educational pursuits at NYU School of Professional Studies and Oxford Brookes University.
