David East

David East is a highly accomplished and dynamic cross-border investment professional with extensive experience working with multinationals, government agencies, and academic institutions globally. Currently, they serve as Senior Director - Head of Sales Coordination for the Data Solutions unit at Moody’s Analytics, where they focus on budgeting, forecasting, and sales team training. Previously, David held key positions such as Head of FDI & Economic Products at Bureau van Dijk, where they developed the world's first database tracking Greenfield FDI projects and cross-border M&A deals, and Publisher at fDi Magazine within the Financial Times. David has significantly contributed to the growth and market leadership of several investment-focused databases, achieving remarkable revenue increases throughout their career. They are also an active member of the Worshipful Company of Carmen and have been awarded the Freedom of the City of London.
