Ehsan Najafi

Ehsan Najafi, Ph.D., serves as Associate Director of Analytics & Modeling at Moody's Corporation since November 2021, previously holding positions including Assistant Director and AVP of Climate Solutions. Prior to this role, Ehsan was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Advanced Science Research Center, GC/CUNY, conducting numerical hydrological modeling and identifying extreme weather events across the U.S. Ehsan has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Lecturer at CUNY New York City College of Technology and as a Research Assistant at City College of New York. Ehsan holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy in Water Resources Engineering and Civil Engineering from The City College of New York, alongside a Master’s degree in Hydraulic Structures from Iran University of Science and Technology.
