Allison O'Connor has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Allison currently works as a Principal Investigator/Subject Matter Expert at Arcfield, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held roles at Moog ISP, where they served as the Business Unit Operations Lead and the Assembly & Facilities Manager. Additionally, they were the Director of Process Improvements and Development at Moog ISP.
In 2016, O'Connor served as the Vice President of Niagara Aerospace Museum. Allison then joined Moog Space and Defense Group in 2017, where they held the positions of Operations Program Manager and Operations: Propulsion - A&T Manager.
At AMPAC ISP (Moog ISP), O'Connor worked as the Director of Engineering and the Propulsion, Manufacturing, and Facilities Manager. Before Moog ISP, they were a Program Manager at Woodward and the Director of Marketing/Engineering at Prestolite.
Their earlier work experience includes roles as a System Engineer at Delphi Automotive Systems and as a Systems Engineer at Delphi. Allison began their career at Calspan Corporation as a Test Engineer in the field of wind tunnel and hypersonic shock tunnel.
Allison O'Connor completed their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan from 1980 to 1984. Allison then pursued a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in aerospace, thermodynamics, and hypersonics, at the University at Buffalo from 1988 to 1989. Following that, they obtained a teacher certification in math, physics, and science from Buffalo State College from 1989 to 1990. Additionally, they have further field of study in aerospace, aeronautical, and astronautical/space engineering at the University of Michigan.
