Andrew Schmidt

Andrew Schmidt, P.E., currently serves as the Propulsion System Lead Engineer at Moog Inc., having previously held positions as a Fluids System Engineer at BLUE ORIGIN and a Propulsion Systems Engineer at United Launch Alliance. With extensive experience in defining and developing requirements for rocket cryogenic fluid systems, Andrew has also contributed to ground support equipment design and mentoring of junior engineers. Prior roles include Project Development Engineer at Ameresco, where Andrew managed energy projects, and Performance Engineer II at McHale & Associates, focusing on thermodynamic performance testing. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
