Chris Strong

Chris Strong is a Business Unit Director focusing on Aircraft Propulsion Systems at Moog Inc., where they currently lead strategic initiatives in the field. Previously, they held various engineering leadership roles at Moog, including Naval Systems Business Unit Engineering Manager and Defense Sector Electrical Engineering Manager, fostering relationships and developing technical roadmaps for naval technologies. Chris also served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electrician on submarines, gaining extensive experience in electrical systems management. They hold a Master’s degree in Packaging of Electronics and Optical Devices from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to their engineering career, Chris was actively involved in their community as President/Vice President of Craneridge Homeowner's Association, overseeing budget management and conflict resolution.
