Derek Lee

Derek Lee is a skilled engineer with a diverse background in product and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as a Product Engineer at Moog Inc. since February 2021, Derek has developed expertise in coordinating complex systems, conducting tests to support process improvements, and collaborating with vendors to enhance manufacturing methods. Prior experience includes working as a Manufacturing Engineer at RBC Bearings, where responsibilities encompassed designing process fixtures and ensuring compliance with aerospace specifications. Derek's engineering journey also includes an internship at BorgWarner Inc., focusing on variable camshaft timing product development, and early experience operating CNC machinery at Rand Machine Products Inc. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
