George Small

George Small is the Chief Technology Officer at Moog Inc., a position held since September 1996, focusing on technology and business development, technology scouting, and partnership building. Prior roles at Moog include Principal Engineer, concentrating on digital transformations, and Chief Engineer for Primary Flight Controls, overseeing a team across multiple sites and countries while managing the design and development of certified flight control systems for major aircraft like the Boeing 787 and A350XWB. Prior to Moog, George Small served as Research and Development Manager at AirSep Corporation, developing medical devices, and held engineering positions at Carleton Technologies and Taylor Devices, specializing in aerospace applications. George Small holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, obtained in 1987.
