John Reynolds

Manager, Test Equipment System Engineering

John Reynolds is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in system engineering within the aerospace and railroad industries. Currently serving as Manager of Test Equipment System Engineering at Moog Inc. since September 2017, John leads a team focused on requirements development, system modeling, and integration for aircraft actuation system test equipment. Prior to this role, John was the Integrated Product Team Leader and Senior Project Engineer at Moog Inc., overseeing cross-functional teams in the development of automated test equipment. At New York Air Brake, John held the position of Director of Systems Development Engineering, where John managed system engineering activities for complex mechatronic systems and developed safety engineering artifacts. Earlier experience includes leadership roles in locomotive brake system engineering and design engineering at GE, as well as serving as a US Army Aviation Officer. John holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and has a strong foundation in interdisciplinary engineering and management, alongside an Associate degree in Engineering Science.
