Johnny Xu

Marketing Director, Asia, EH Products And Solutions at Moog

Johnny Xu has over 20 years of experience in marketing and business management. Johnny began their career at B&R Industrial Automation, where they started as a Marketing Specialist and later became the China Marketing Manager. In this role, they developed and implemented marketing activities, including digital marketing initiatives, market intelligence, exhibitions, and advertising. Johnny also conducted competitive analysis and provided proposals to the management team.

After leaving B&R Industrial Automation, Johnny joined Moog Inc. as the Marketing Communications Manager for China. Johnny then progressed to the role of China Marketing Manager for the Energy Business unit, where they developed and executed marketing strategies to support business growth. Later, they became the Global Strategic Pricing Manager for the Industrial Solutions division, responsible for pricing strategies and initiatives.

Johnny's career at Moog Inc. continued to advance, and they became the Marketing Director for the Industrial Solutions division. In this role, they led the global marketing team and implemented a transformational marketing approach using digital marketing technology. Johnny also served as a core member of the Global Solutions Business Management Team.

Most recently, Johnny assumed the position of Marketing Director, Asia, EH Products and Solutions at Moog Inc. Johnny is a core member of the China Country Management Team and the global Product Marketing Management Team. Johnny defines marketing strategies, serves as the process owner of Product Marketing and Marketing Communication in Asia, and leads key projects such as global marketing lead generation and digital marketing transformation.

Johnny Xu received a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Design and Theory with a specialization in Machine Vision from Wuxi University of Light Industry from 1997 to 2000. Johnny then pursued an MBA degree at Fudan University with a focus on BI Norwegian Business School from 2009 to 2012.
