Robert O'Sullivan is an accomplished Lead Architect for Electronic Controls at Moog Inc. since September 2008, specializing in control electronics and software for a wide range of applications, from wearable prosthetics to heavy construction equipment. With previous experience as a Design Engineer focusing on servo drive and motion control systems, Robert's expertise encompasses product definition, system architecture, and embedded software development, alongside significant contributions to functional safety and production processes. Prior to Moog, Robert worked at NXP following the acquisition of Freescale Semiconductor, where responsibilities included the design and support of mixed-signal transceiver ICs, and at Motorola as a Software Developer, which involved managing HR data systems. Robert holds multiple patents related to wind turbine control and digital modulation, and has earned a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy, alongside degrees in Management & Marketing and Electronic & Electrical Engineering from University College Cork.
