Rui Santos is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and aeronautics sectors. Currently employed at Moog Inc. since January 2022, Rui previously held roles as Lead Software Engineer at Wright Brothers Flight Technologies Netherlands BV and as a Software Engineer at Alten Nederland, where the focus was on developing customer-oriented software products. Rui's career also includes positions at CAE, Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training, and GLEXYZ Group, where responsibilities encompassed software integration and validation for flight simulators as well as engineering consultancy. An early technical background includes work as an IT Technician at Iwaytrade and a founding role in designing the first Portuguese fuel cell-powered vehicle for the Shell Eco-Marathon.
