Ryan Gilmour

Ryan Gilmour is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Moog Inc. since January 2022, bringing extensive experience in spacecraft manufacturing and testing from previous roles at Planet and Orbital ATK. At Planet, Ryan served as Lead for Spacecraft Qualification and Spacecraft Test Engineer, managing the qualification process for various spacecraft components. During tenure at Orbital ATK, Ryan focused on manufacturing and testing solar arrays and deployable structures, collaborating with design engineers to enhance manufacturability and overseeing project materials procurement. Early engineering internships at Orbital ATK involved designing manufacturing equipment and participating in thermal vacuum testing for the Phoenix Mars Lander. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and pursued further studies at Stanford Continuing Studies.
