Stephen Recktenwald is an accomplished mechanical design engineer and entrepreneur with a diverse background in engineering and leadership roles. As the founder and inventor at Freedom Fans, Stephen is developing an innovative roof fan and skylight product for camper vans, overseeing all aspects from prototyping to product launch. At Moog Inc., Stephen has contributed to the design of military aircraft actuation systems and UAS/eVTOL drones. Previous experiences include leading food service operations at Saranac Village Camp, consulting for a medical AI startup, and gaining design and development expertise at 3DATX Corporation. Stephen holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
