Mateus Rezende

Mateus Rezende has a diverse work experience in the field of design and innovation. Mateus is currently working at Moon Creative Lab as a Senior Design Lead, where they guide entrepreneurs in using design methodologies to create new solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Design Lead at Moon, where they empowered entrepreneurs to use design thinking to create impactful solutions.

Before joining Moon, Mateus was a Steering Committee Member & Lecturer at Hyper island, where they played a key role in educating and supporting students on design-related topics.

Mateus also served as the User Experience Lead at Linkx, where they focused on digital transformation and developed solutions using AI, robotics, and other cutting-edge technologies.

Mateus gained experience as a Lead UI/UX Designer at Castalia Co., Ltd., a Japanese startup that developed projects integrating technology and education.

As a Freelancer at Questto|Nó, an innovation studio, Mateus worked in various capacities such as content creation, trend research, meet-up management, and online engagement through public relations and social media.

Earlier in their career, Mateus worked as a UI Designer at BREW Inc., a Graphic Designer at Ana Couto Branding, and a Junior Graphic Designer at commgroup branding.

Mateus has also contributed as a Research Assistant at trendwatching.com, where they identified hot trends in global marketing and identified business opportunities.

Throughout their career, Mateus has demonstrated skills in brand strategy development, user experience research, content creation, and innovation processes.

Mateus Rezende's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá, where they pursued a degree in Communication and Advertising from 2008 to 2010. Mateus then took a break from formal education until 2013 when they attended Pipa and obtained a degree in Social Entrepreneurship. The program focused on social entrepreneurship, innovation, and world-changing ideas. After this, Mateus pursued their undergraduate studies at Waseda University from 2018 to 2022. Mateus earned a degree in International Liberal Studies, focusing on liberal arts and sciences. Currently, Mateus is pursuing a Master's degree in Cultural Studies at Waseda University, which they started in 2022 and is expected to complete in 2024.
