Daniel Wessels

Daniel Wessels is a seasoned music executive currently working at Moonbug Entertainment since June 2022. Wessels has extensive experience in music education, having taught piano at RHODES SCHOOL OF MUSIC and as a self-employed teacher, focusing on customized lessons for various age groups. Wessels served as Associate Music Director and Accompanist at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts-Los Angeles, producing music for theatrical shows and facilitating remote classes. Additionally, Wessels has held music director roles at Story Pirates and The Second City, teaching musical improvisation and composing original music for theatrical productions. Notable projects include co-composing the hit off-Broadway musical “50 Shades! The Musical Parody” and overseeing music for “Thrones! The Musical Parody.” Wessels holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition from Columbia College Chicago.
