Jon Benoy

Jon Benoy has a range of work experience in various leadership roles within the entertainment industry. Jon served as the Managing Director of Operations & Music at Moonbug Entertainment since July 2021. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Video Labs at Moonbug Entertainment starting from May 2018. From April 2016 to March 2018, Jon was the Head of Sales at WildBrain, a subsidiary of DHX Media. Jon also held the position of Content Partnerships at WildBrain from June 2015 to April 2016. Before that, Jon worked at Base79 where they were responsible for business development, particularly in the sports and talent sectors. Jon played a key role in licensing premium sports rights and signing influential talent, while also identifying and launching new sub-verticals. Jon's tenure at Base79 lasted from February 2012 to May 2015.

Jon Benoy attended Northumbria University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a 2.1 Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in International Business Management. In 2009 to 2010, they studied at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, completing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (GAAP), Production and Quality, and Music Business. Additionally, Jon obtained certifications in YouTube Audience Growth from Google in February 2013 and March 2015.
