Daniel Ghilea

Daniel Ghilea is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing technical teams and driving product development across various domains. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at MoonPay since May 2023, Daniel previously held the role of Engineering Manager at Babylon from January 2020 to May 2023, leading cross-functional teams in Onboarding and Member Data across multiple geographies. Prior to that, as the Head of Engineering at Perfect Ward, Daniel was instrumental in building a technical team from the ground up. With a solid foundation in software engineering, including roles as a Lead Back-end Engineer and Software Engineer, Daniel has demonstrated expertise in technologies such as PHP/MySQL, MVC architecture, and JavaScript. Daniel holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Bucharest.
