Valentyn Chumachenko

Valentyn Chumachenko has diverse work experience in the field of sound design, audio production, music composition, and sound directing.

Valentyn currently works at Moonray PBC as a Sound Designer and Audio Producer starting from April 2022.

Prior to that, they had their own independent music composition and sound design business since October 2017, where they served as a Music Composer, Sound Designer, Sound Producer, and Sound Director. Valentyn also worked as a Music Composer and Sound Designer for various projects until August 2021.

Valentyn has also worked as a Sound Director for TV Channel "Odesa.Live" from August 2020 to August 2021, and as a Sound Designer and Sound Director for NLO-TV from May 2019 to August 2021.

Valentyn gained experience as a Sound Director and Sound Engineer for the travel show "Discover Destination UA" at Discover Destination UA from September 2020 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for mixing and mastering an English-language TV travel show about Ukraine.

Additionally, Valentyn has worked as a Music Composer and Sound Designer on Fiverr from February 2019 to January 2021, offering their services in music composition and sound design.

Valentyn Chumachenko began their education at the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi College of Nature Management, Construction, and Computer Technology from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Junior specialist degree. Following this, they attended the School of Music from 2002 to 2009, focusing on piano. Valentyn then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree at the Odessa National Academy of Building and Architecture from 2015 to 2018. Most recently, in 2021, they attended XSSR Academy for a program in IAM5 Interactive Audio and MiddleWare. In addition to their formal education, Valentyn is self-educated in music composition, sound design, and sound direction.
