Frank Tin is a Studio Manager at 摩尔线程智能科技(北京)有限责任公司 since August 2021, leading the GPU physics engine AlphaCore project. Prior to this role, Frank served as the In-house Physics Engine R&D Leader at Light Chaser Animation Studios from September 2015 to August 2021, where contributions included the development of the Reflex GPU physics engine, and various solvers such as KARASU and Synaptic, along with several modeling and simulation pipeline tools for Houdini. Frank also has experience as a VR/AR Graphics Software Engineer, focusing on OpenGLSL and iOS graphics optimizations. Earlier career highlights include founding WindSideSoftware and WindSide VisualEffect, where Frank contributed to fluid dynamics, C++/CUDA SPH solvers, and Houdini-related plugins.
