John Chambers

Chambers is a senior executive, entrepreneur, and board director with a focus on impact investing, philanthropy, and technology-enabled growth. They currently serve as Chief Executive Officer of a Private Philanthropic Trust and as founder and chairman of Moorup Technology, while also sitting on the Tara Climate Foundation board. They are a member of Swinburne University of Technology's Council, chair of the Value Creation Committee, and a member of the REM committee, and they act as a Non-Executive Director at Close the Loop. Past leadership roles include Executive GM Future Business and Technology at AGL Energy (2020–2022), CEO of TAPPL (2017–2020), and founder of Fresh Ventures Advisory (2017–2019), which was sold to IE Digital in 2019. Chambers earned a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University (1989–1994) and completed a Graduate program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2016.
