Carsten Scheibye is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in various industries. Currently serving as Co-Founder of What a Date since January 2024, Carsten previously held part-time roles with Danish Business Angels - DanBAN and as an investor at Moove since October 2021 and April 2021, respectively. As the Founder of Danish Biz Network Dubai, initiated in January 2013, Carsten established a network for Danish business owners that hosts regular gatherings. From February 2002 to January 2022, Carsten owned Scheibye Trading ME, which became the largest electronics and metals recycler in the GCC/UAE. Prior experience includes being the CFO and owner of Iris Wireless from February 2008 to October 2010, a significant distributor of secure electronic transactions, and founding Sundhedsguiden Media ApS from January 1998 to December 2000, which was later sold to investors.
