Franck Multon has extensive experience in research and project management within the field of computer science, particularly focusing on the intersection of technology and sports. Since January 2011, Franck has been serving as Directeur de Recherche at Inria, where responsibilities include national coordination for digital initiatives related to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Additionally, Franck leads the MimeTIC project team, a collaboration between Inria and the universities of Rennes 2, and manages the MimeTIC team at IRISA. As a professor at the Laboratoire M2S since 2007, Franck specializes in the analysis, modeling, and simulation of movement. Furthermore, in November 2018, Franck co-founded MOOVENCY. Educational credentials include a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches from Université de Rennes I, a research doctorate in computer science, and an engineering degree in software and computer systems.
