Colby Thrift

Colby Thrift is an accomplished Electrical Engineer and Co-Founder of Mora Technologies, established in August 2020, which focuses on industrial automation and technology to enhance customer productivity, profitability, and quality. Prior to this, Colby Thrift held various engineering roles at Nucor Steel, including Automation Engineer and Power System Engineer from April 2019 to August 2020, and Meltshop Automation from June 2017 to April 2019. Colby Thrift began a career in engineering as an EE Co-op at Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa, Inc. from May 2015 to May 2017 and served as Circulation Coordinator at Tuscaloosa Public Library from August 2012 to May 2015. Colby Thrift earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama, completing studies in 2017.
