More Than Capable is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adults aged 18 and older with developmental differences and all abilities through inclusive, community-centered programs. We bridge the gap between potential and opportunity by offering compassionate, participant-focused support in a welcoming environment where individuals can thrive.

Rooted in connection, creativity, and personal growth, our programs encompass art, music, movement, wellness, volunteerism, social and life skills, and communication. We nurture essential daily living and social skills while fostering self-expression, independence, personal choice, and confidence.

We create pathways for leadership by inviting participants to take active roles in our programs as volunteer helpers—empowering them to lead, develop new skills, take initiative, and inspire others. Participants are also included in program development decisions, giving them a voice in shaping experiences that reflect their interests, strengths, and goals.

Launching in early 2026, our More Than Capable Podcast will further amplify the voices of our participants. They will interview members of the community, share their own experiences, and explore topics such as relationships, self-advocacy, wellness, creativity, and inclusion—creating opportunities for authentic expression and community connection.

Our Parent Support Group provides a welcoming space for parents and caregivers of adults with developmental differences to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. Through open conversations, guest speakers, and practical resources, we foster understanding, support, and empowerment for families.
