In summer 2022, Morecambe Bay Primary Care Collaborative Limited, became, Morecambe Bay Primary Care Collaborative Community Interest Company.

Apart from being a bit of a mouthful, what does this mean? MBPCC is now a social enterprise, putting the needs of local people ahead of profits, and working for social good. We firmly believe that vibrant strong general practice is a key part of local people living healthy and successful lives.

Our change in status to a Community Interest Company legally confirms our “not-for-profit” ethos.
