We initiate urban transformation: we breathe new life into vacant buildings, bring momentum to areas facing transformation and look for new development opportunities for existing, urban environments.  Where easy solutions do not exist and formats are lacking. We take an approach to every project that on the one hand examines and tries to understand the task, but at the same time we try to broaden it so that the opportunities of locations can strengthen themselves with new energy and program. 
We co founded for example RIF010, the first urban surfing spot of the world in the citycentre of Rotterdam.
We are a design atelier for buildings and urban ensembles, but we also like  to research, connects, communicate and invents.
Collaboration with thinkers and doers from other disciplines is common for us.
