Matthew Smith has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in education, law enforcement, and security management. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at Morgan Hunter since 2019, Matthew has also worked as a Postal Worker for the United States Postal Service from September 2020 to March 2022. Prior to that, Matthew held the position of Director of Security at Universal Services of America, overseeing the security department at Wyndham Branson. Between 2007 and 2011, Matthew served as a Corporal at the Cass County Sheriff's Office, supervising night shifts in the jail. Matthew's law enforcement career began at the Olathe Police Department, where Matthew worked as a Sergeant for over two decades, managing various units and holding multiple specialized training roles. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and Services from The University of Kansas and MidAmerica Nazarene University.
