David Futter

David Futter is an accomplished Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and Regulatory Counsel with extensive experience in financial services and industrial sectors. Retaining a strategy-focused approach, David has advised global financial institutions on compliance risk management programs across developed and emerging markets. Previously, they held significant roles at GE Capital, UBS Investment Bank, and BNY Mellon, where they led diverse compliance teams and managed complex regulatory relationships. Currently, David serves as Executive Director and Head of Compliance Risk Framework at Morgan Stanley, overseeing the compliance risk governance framework. They hold a Juris Doctor from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Oberlin College.
