Derrick Sim

Derrick Sim is the Executive Director and COO of Southeast Asia Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, a position held since 2023. Previously, Derrick served as Vice President at Morgan Stanley and worked as an M&A Analyst at Lazard from 2012 to 2014. Derrick began their career with the Singapore Armed Forces in 2006 and has also gained experience as a summer analyst at JP Morgan Chase and Helios Technology. Derrick holds a B.A. (Hons) and M.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where they were the President of the Investment Banking Society.
