Mark Coups has extensive experience in systems engineering and programming, beginning with a role as a Systems Engineer at Schlumberger from September 1996 to January 2007, where responsibilities included server administration and a significant data center relocation project. Coups then served as a Senior Systems Programmer at Interactive Data from January 2007 to October 2012, implementing core production Linux infrastructure and designing an automated provisioning system. Following this, Coups held the position of Unix & Virtualisation Ops Manager at PGDS (UK ONE) LIMITED from November 2013 to April 2018, managing teams and delivering substantial cost savings while also overseeing Unix projects.
