Eric Lim

Eric Lim, CFA has worked in various quantitative and analytical roles throughout their career. Eric started their most recent position as a Lead Quantitative Analyst at Morningstar in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Marquette Associates from 2017 to 2022, initially as a Quantitative Analyst and later as a Senior Quantitative Analyst. Before Marquette Associates, they served as a Quantitative Research Assistant at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2016 to 2017. Eric Lim, CFA holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, obtained in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo, from 2006 to 2011. Eric also has additional certifications including a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute, and various programming and cybersecurity awareness certifications. Eric has also obtained a certification as a PADI Open Water Diver in 2014.
