Lukas Strobl

Lukas Strobl is an experienced editorial manager with a strong background in financial journalism and data-driven news. Since January 2022, Lukas has served as the Editorial Manager for EMEA at Morningstar, overseeing a team of investment writers who leverage data and analysis for actionable financial news. Prior to this role, Lukas held various positions at Bloomberg LP, including Markets Editor and Team Leader for Data-Driven News in Western Europe, where leadership involved managing a team of nine editors and producing critical market news. Lukas's early career included internships at the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the US Department of Defense, as well as research fellowships focusing on nonproliferation studies. Lukas holds a BA in East Asian Studies, graduated cum laude from Middlebury College, and has studied Japanese language at multiple institutions.
