Tim Benedict

Tim Benedict is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in leading external and internal communication strategies across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Communications for Morningstar Indexes and Morningstar Sustainalytics since April 2021, Tim oversees global communication programs. Prior to this role, Tim worked at LSEG as the Senior Communications Manager for the Americas, managing communications for key markets. Tim's career also includes significant positions at Russell Investments, where strategic communication initiatives were directed during the integration of FTSE and Russell Indexes, and The Hartford, where leadership of a communications team supported the wealth management sector. With earlier roles in media relations at GE Capital and marketing communications at Goldman Sachs, Tim's academic background includes an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colgate University.
