Thomas Stat

Thomas Stat has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Thomas started their career in 2010 as the Founder and Partner of Eleven Consulting Group. In 2012, they became the Co-Founder and Senior Creative Advisor of Rivet Smart Audio, Inc., and also held the position of Senior Design Advisor at the Museum of Science and Industry. In 2015, Thomas joined the Lookingglass Theatre Company as a Board Member.

Thomas's expertise in design and innovation led him to serve as the Director of Design Labs at Gensler from 2019 to 2023. Thomas was responsible for leading design projects and providing strategic guidance. Concurrently, Thomas co-founded Social Space Group in 2021, where they served as the Chief Design Officer.

Additionally, Thomas has been involved in various leadership and advisory roles. Thomas was a Board/Steering Committee member for Chicago Ideas Week starting from 2010. Thomas founded Yonder Group in 2017 and served as the Lead Advisor until 2019.

Thomas's extensive experience in design, innovation, and consulting paved the way for their role as the VP of Innovation at Morpheus XR, starting in 2023. Thomas also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Management at Vanderbilt University.

Thomas Stat has a diverse education history. Thomas pursued a degree in Marketing and Business Management with an Executive MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Thomas also completed a B. Architecture degree and a B.F.A. degree, both from the Rhode Island School of Design. Furthermore, they obtained a B.A. from Boston University, with a focus on Social Psychology, along with a minor in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Additionally, Thomas pursued studies in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University. Finally, they obtained their High School Diploma from The Tatnall School, a private school.
