Avinash Paliwal

Avinash Paliwal is a PhD Candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Texas A&M University, where they are advised by Dr. Nima Kalantari in the Aggie Graphics Group. Their primary research interests include 3D Computer Vision, Computational Photography, and Generative Models, with a current focus on 3D scene generation from sparse images. Avinash has previously held roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University, as well as a Senior R&D Engineer at Bajaj Auto Ltd. They are also a Founding AI Researcher at Morphic since 2025. Avinash holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
