Akshay M has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they started working as an Assembly Engineer at Morphle Labs Inc. YC W20. Theirrole included the identification and generation of all documentation related to the integration of new products into the production environment, as well as performing analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts, manufacturing process design, set up and tooling. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Quality Control Engineer at Source Technologi, where they performed visual inspections of in-coming items/products to ensure they met all desired criteria as specified by the supplier document, as well as receiving raw materials for stock and checking them for QC processes. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Consultant Production Engineer at Stellapps Technologies Private Limited, where they inspected, tested, or measured materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications, and discarded or rejected products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications. In 2016, they were an Intern at Bharat Electronics, where they studied the various projects being undertaken at the time and learned about various radar's, missile and military tankers.

Akshay M completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from J S S Academy of Technical Education, BANGALORE in 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from PES UNIVERSITY, BANGLORE in 2014. In 2020, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Management & Strategy Institute.
