Jon Buttles

Jon Buttles has had a diverse work experience over the years, starting with their role as an Independent Investment Banker at Merriman Capital, Inc. in 2012. Jon went on to found Core Equity Group in 2004 where they served as Managing Partner before leaving in 2015. In 2011, they briefly served as Chief Financial Officer at PodNod Inc. before joining Cypress Creek Renewables as Vice President of Corporate Finance and later as Chief Financial Officer. Jon also served as Managing Director at Cypress Creek Renewables from February to June 2019, and then joined Morpho Ventures, LLC as Managing Partner in July 2019. Jon eventually co-founded Parce Productions in January 2020 and joined The Bruery & Offshoot Beer Co. as a Board Member in May 2020. In early 2021, they co-founded Morpho Energy and later in the year became the Chief Financial Officer at Birch Creek Energy. Throughout their work experience, Jon Buttles has focused on providing value-added services to businesses in the solar energy sector and venture banking.

Jon Buttles attended Miami University from 1992 to 1996 where they pursued a degree in Finance and concentrated on the field of Economics.
