Morris Engineering Group, Inc. (MEG) is an electrical consulting engineering firm with an office in Juneau, Alaska. The Principal Engineer, Mark Morris, P.E., originally opened the firm in 1997 as a sole proprietorship under the name IHH Electrical. In May 2004, the firm was incorporated as Morris Engineering Group, LLC. and then as Morris Engineering Group, Inc in June 2018.

MEG provides consulting engineering services based upon solid engineering design principles to clients throughout Alaska. The firm’s clients include ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips Alaska, the University of Alaska, City & Borough of Juneau, City & Borough of Sitka, City of Unalaska, Petersburg Borough Ketchikan Gateway Borough, State of Alaska DOT/PF, Consulting Engineering Firms, and Architecture Firms.

The firm’s services include: preparation of plans and specifications for new construction or renovations, construction cost estimates, submittal reviews, material requisitions, inspections, construction administration, electrical surveys, energy efficiency studies, feasibility analyses, electrical troubleshooting, and other electrical engineering services as needed.

These services are provided for power distribution systems, controls, fire and gas detection, electrical support buildings and modules, security systems, airports, marine facilities, roadways, water and waste water utilities, commercial buildings, government buildings, industrial facilities, schools, sports facilities, health care facilities, multi residential, and warehouses.
