Scott Buth is a seasoned professional in the machine tool industry with extensive experience in sales and management. Currently serving as a Sales Engineer at Morris since June 2023, Scott specializes in capital equipment sales of Okuma, Tsugami, and select machine tools. Previously, Scott was the President of Alternative Machine Tool, LLC, from March 2001 to June 2023, where responsibilities included buying and selling machine tools and equipment. Scott has also contributed to the industry as a board member for both the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers and the Machinery Dealers National Association from 2015 to 2023. Earlier in Scott's career, sales experience was gained at Schweda Machinery/EDM Sales and technical support was provided as a Service Engineer at Bolens Corporation. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, earned between 1980 and 1984.
