John Taggart

John Taggart currently serves as Engineering Manager at Morrish Homes, a position held since July 2021, after previously working as Senior Project Engineer. Prior to this, John was employed at David Wilson Homes from October 2017 to July 2021 as a Development Engineer, overseeing engineering aspects from land purchase to project completion. John's earlier experience includes roles at Peterbre as Associate and Principal Engineer in Utilities, where responsibilities encompassed managing utility teams and coordinating projects for new developments. John began their career at British Power International, contributing as Lead and Civil Design Engineer for overhead lines and substations, respectively. Initial roles included Contracts Site Engineer at Lafarge and Setting Out Engineer at SEH (Groundworks) Ltd. John holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil and Coastal Engineering from the University of Plymouth, obtained in 2010.
